(A) Medical examination may be required for all permanent full-time employees of all departments. A report of the physician's finding shall be made on a standard form provided by the city. The physician's examination fees shall be paid for by the city. The purpose of the physical examination is to enable the city and its insurers and physicians to anticipate and help to prevent health problems, which is in the interest of both the employees and the city. It is therefore mandatory that every employee cooperate with this program and consent to periodic physical examinations as requested by the city, its physician or its insurers.
(B) It shall be just cause to terminate any employee who refuses to participate in a medical/physical examination, upon receiving a written notice not less than five days before that examination is required.
