§ 35.05 CLASSIFICATION, COMPENSATION OF PERSONNEL.
   (A)   Personnel of the police department shall be classified and compensated in the manner and amounts prescribed by the city council.
   (B)   No provision of this code or of the ordinance adopting this code shall be construed to repeal, amend, or supersede any ordinance or any provision of any ordinance relating to police salaries, including ordinances numbered O-70-68, O-48-67, O-28-66, O-36-65, and O-17-63.
