§ 34.01 CREATION.
   The board of local improvements in and for the city is created. The board shall consist of the mayor and all of the aldermen elected to the city council. The board shall do and perform the duties and functions incumbent upon the board of local improvements as provided in ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, § 9, as from time to time amended.
