§ 31.52 PRECEDENCE OF MOTIONS.
   When a question is under debate, the following motions shall be in order, and shall have precedence over each other in order, as listed:
   (A)   To fix the time to which to adjourn (not debatable, when privileged).
   (B)   To adjourn (not debatable).
   (C)   To take a recess (not debatable, when privileged).
   (D)   To lay on the table (not debatable).
   (E)   The previous question (not debatable).
   (F)   To defer or postpone to a specific time (2/3 vote required).
   (G)   To defer or postpone without reference to a specific time (majority vote).
   (H)   To refer to a committee.
   (I)   To amend an amendment.
   (J)   To amend.
   (K)   To defer or postpone indefinitely.
