(A) For the purpose of elections the city is divided into 8 precincts as follows:
(1) Precinct Number 1 shall be that part of Ward I lying south of 127th Street. The boundaries of Precinct Number I shall be as follows: The north boundary shall be 127th Street; the west boundary shall be Harlem Avenue; the east boundary shall be the city limits; the south boundary shall be the city limits.
(2) Precinct Number 2 shall be that part of Ward I lying north of 127th Street. The boundaries of Precinct Number 2 shall be as follows: the north boundary shall be 125th Street-Shiawassie-125th Street-Ridgeland Avenue-123rd Street; the west boundary shall be Harlem Avenue; the east boundary shall be the city limits; the south boundary shall be 127th Street.
(3) Precinct Number 3 shall be that part of Ward II lying east of Oak Park Avenue. The boundaries of Precinct Number 3 shall be as follows: the north boundary shall be the city limits; the west boundary shall be Oak Park Avenue; the east boundary shall be Ridgeland Avenue-city limits-Ridgeland Avenue; the south boundary shall be Shiawassie-125th Street-Ridgeland Avenue-123rd Street.
(4) Precinct Number 4 shall be that part of Ward II lying west of Oak Park Avenue. The boundaries of Precinct Number 4 shall be as follows: the north boundary shall be the city limits; the west boundary shall be Harlem Avenue; the east boundary shall be Oak Park Avenue; the south boundary shall be 125th Street.
(5) Precinct Number 5 shall be that part of Ward III lying east of 76th Avenue. The boundaries of Precinct Number 5 shall be as follows: the north boundary shall be the city limits; the west boundary shall be the city limits; the east boundary shall be Harlem Avenue; the south boundary shall be the center line of 123rd Street.
(6) Precinct Number 6 shall be that part of Ward III lying west of 76th Avenue. The boundaries of Precinct Number 6 shall be as follows: the north boundary shall be the center line of 123rd Street; the west boundary shall be the city limits; the east boundary shall be Harlem Avenue; the south boundary shall be the center line of 127th Street.
(7) Precinct Number 7 shall be that part of Ward IV lying north of 127th Street. The boundaries of Precinct Number 7 shall be as follows: the north boundary shall be the center line of 131st Street; the west boundary shall be the city limits; the east boundary shall be the city limits; the south boundary shall be the city limits.
(8) Precinct Number 8 shall be that part of Ward IV lying south of 127th Street. The boundaries of Precinct Number 8 shall be as follows: the north boundary shall be the center line of 127th Street; the west boundary shall be the city limits; the east boundary shall be Harlem Avenue; the south boundary shall be the center line of 131st Street.
(B) All references to streets shall mean the center line of streets.
