§ 31.03 MARSHAL; DUTIES.

   The Marshal shall:

   (A)   Be commissioned and appointed as a peace officer under Tex. Code of Criminal Procedure § 2.12;

   (B)   Perform duties as “Fire Marshal” and use such title;

   (C)   Oversee all operations of the office of Emergency Services and its personnel/volunteers;

   (D)   Appoint/delegate to those persons within the office of Emergency Services, which are capable of completing the tasks; and

   (E)   Serve as the city’s Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC).
