(A) Required; application.
(1) It shall be unlawful for any person to construct, alter or extend any mobile home or recreational vehicle park within the corporate limits of the city unless he or she holds a valid permit for such issued by the city in the name of such person.
(2) All applications for permits shall be made upon standard forms provided by the city and contain the following:
(a) Name and address of applicant;
(b) Location and legal description of the mobile home or recreational vehicle park; and
(c) To this application shall be attached two copies of a site plan at a minimum scale of one inch to 200 feet for sites 30 acres or more, and at a minimum scale of one inch to 100 feet for sites under 30 acres. This site plan does not replace or supersede the subdivision plat of the property required by state law to be recorded in the county records in which the property is located, after review and approval of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
(B) Permit fee. All applications to the Planning and Zoning Commission shall be accompanied by a fee of $10.
(C) Issuance. When, upon review of the application, the city is satisfied that the proposed plan meets the requirements of this and other applicable ordinances, a permit shall be issued.
(D) Denial; hearing. Any person whose application for a permit under this subchapter has been denied may request a hearing on the matter with the City Council.
(E) Prohibited placement of mobile home. The placement of a mobile home shall not be permitted, except in an approved licensed mobile home or recreational vehicle park or subdivision or sales lot.
(F) Prohibited placement of recreational vehicle. The placement of a recreational vehicle for occupancy shall not be permitted, except in an approved mobile home or recreational vehicle park or sales lot.
(G) Permitted placement outside of park. Permits will be granted for the placement of a recreational vehicle at an owner’s place of business and for mobile homes as temporary office facilities.
