The following charges in addition to the rates above shall be charged for all water and/or sewer connections within the city:
(A) Impact fee: $0.40 per thousand gallons;
(B) Fuel adjustment: $0.15 per thousand gallons;
(C) Late penalty: 10% of bill;
(D) Customer deposit for new service: $200.00;
(E) Activation fee: $50;
(F) Reconnect fee: $100;
(G) After hours reconnect fee: $125;
(H) Returned check fee: $30; and
(I) Fire services fee: set each year based on annual fee from the City of Harlingen, said fee amount(s) being codified in Chapter 53 below.
(J) Water Meter (1"):
(1) New tap: $450.00
(2) No tap: $250.00
(K) Water Meter (2"):
(1) New tap: $850.00
(2) No tap: $650.00
(L) Sewer:
(1) New tap: $450.00
(2) No tap: $250.00
(M) Annual testing of backflow prevention device:
(1) Annual test fee: $75.00
(2) Non-compliant backflow prevention device fees:
(a) Replacement fee: $350.00 to $500.00
(b) Repair fee: $150.00 to $350.00
