The following signs shall be allowed under the provisions of this chapter.
(A) Residential signs:
(1) Residential nameplate signs.
(2) Permanent multi-family signs.
(B) Commercial signs for multi-tenant centers and office complexes:
(1) Monument signs.
(2) Joint directory commercial signs.
(3) Nameplate signs.
(C) Commercial signs for single business use:
(1) Monument signs.
(2) Nameplate signs.
(D) Traffic-control signs upon private property.
(E) Real estate, for sale, or open house signs.
(F) Project development signs.
(G) Political signs.
(H) Temporary signage:
(1) Advertising a “grand opening”: A one-time only permit per business, for a ten-day period.
(2) For charitable projects and benefits, limited to two permits per year per business.
(3) For recognized events and city holidays, as provided in § 158.13.
(I) Contractor's sign.
(J) Any sign not specifically listed as being allowed herein is expressively prohibited.
