§ 157.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Fines. Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter, or shall fail to comply therewith or with any of the requirements hereof, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine and, upon conviction of any such violation, shall be fined in any sum of not more than $1,000 for each offense, and each day that such violation exists shall be considered a separate offense.

   (B)   Persons liable. The owners or owner of any building or premises or part thereof, where anything in violation of this chapter shall be placed, or shall exist, any architect, builder, contractor, agent, person and corporation, employed in connection therewith and who may have assisted in the commission of any such violation, shall be guilty of a separate offense and upon conviction thereof shall be fined as provided above.
