§ 154.36 POLYCHLORINATED BIPHENYLS (PCB) ELIMINATION.
   (A)   Purpose. It is the purpose of this section to reduce the possibility of contamination of storm water by PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls),
   (B)   Prohibition. No person shall discharge, introduce, cause or permit any PCB or any substance known or suspected of containing PCBs, or technical products classified as PCBs, or derivatives of PCBs into the MS4 and/or waterbodies, or any location that is susceptible to storm water runoff within the city’s jurisdictional limits.
   (C)   Implications. This section implies that no PCBs, substance containing PCBs or substance suspected of containing PCBs shall be introduced into any waterbody and/or MS4. The public utility companies, such as power, gas and telephone, shall notify the city’s Water Department of any such spills, leaks, overflows from sources including, but not limited to, transformers and capacitors within six hours of such mishaps.
