(A) (1) If no hearing is requested as provided above, it shall be the duty of the person notified to comply with the provisions of the notice given and to abate such nuisance within ten days after the date of receipt of such notice.
(2) If a hearing is requested, as provided above, and an order of removal is entered by the Municipal Judge, it shall be the duty of the person requesting the hearing to comply with the order of removal and to remove and abate such nuisance within ten days from the entry of such order.
(B) If such nuisance is not abated within the time period allowed, the Chief of Police, or any person duly authorized by the Chief of Police and acting under his or her direction, may remove or cause to be removed, the vehicle or part thereof to the city storage area or a storage facility.
