§ 31.34 AUTHORITY AND INTENT.
   (A)   This subchapter is adopted by the Town Council, upon authorization to create a Code Enforcement procedures pursuant to the authority granted municipalities in F.S. § 162.
   (B)   It is the intent of this subchapter to promote, protect and improve the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the town, give Special Magistrates authority to hold hearings and assess fines against violations of the town codes and ordinances providing an equitable, expeditious, effective and inexpensive method of enforcing the codes and ordinances in force in the town, where a pending or repeat violation continues to exist.
