§ 131.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Generally. Any person or entity violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be prosecuted in the same manner as misdemeanors are prosecuted. The violations shall be prosecuted in the name of the state in a court having jurisdiction of misdemeanors by the prosecuting attorney thereof and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $500 or by imprisonment not to exceed 60 days or by both a fine and imprisonment as provided in Florida Statutes or other applicable law. Each incident or separate occurrence of an act that violates this chapter shall be deemed a separate offense.
   (B)   Injunctive relief. In addition to the procedures provided herein, persons and entities that are not in conformity with these requirements shall be subject to appropriate civil action in the court of appropriate jurisdiction for abatement.
