§ 91.089 REMOVAL OF ABANDONED, JUNKED VEHICLES FROM PRIVATE PROPERTY.
   If any abandoned property is located on private property other than those premises licensed for that use, located with the town, the enforcement official shall cause the abandoned property to be removed upon ten days’ written notice to the owner or occupant of any premises upon which the motor vehicle, trailer or other vehicle is stored or deposited, or to the owner thereof if the identity of the owner of the motor vehicle can be ascertained through license plates or otherwise. If the motor vehicle, trailer, boat or other vehicle is not removed after the ten days’ written notice, the enforcement official shall remove the same or cause the removal and disposal at public sale at the cost of the owner or occupant of the premises, or the owner of the motor vehicle, trailer or other vehicle, if the owner can be ascertained.
