(A) It is the intent of this subchapter to establish the public nuisance abatement process and designate a Special Magistrate of the city to promote, protect, and improve the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the city by providing an equitable, expeditious and effective method to abate public nuisances.
(B) This subchapter is not intended to restrict the right of any person to proceed under Fla. Stat. § 60.05 for an injunction against any public nuisance.
