§ 74.152 FAILURE TO OBEY.
   (A)   The violation of a written promise to appear given to an officer upon arrest or issuance of a citation for any violation of this chapter or state statute, shall constitute a violation of this chapter regardless of the disposition of the original charge.
   (B)   A written promise to appear may be complied with by an appearance by counsel.
