For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates a different meaning.
BOARD. A body of persons established by Florida Statutes, special act or by the Charter of the City of Palm Bay and delegated to consider, recommend, advise, or take action on matters as specified by the City Council. The term also includes, but is not limited to, commission, committee, task force, and authority.
BOARDMEMBER. Any person who is appointed or confirmed by the City Council to be a member of a city board which is created or authorized by the laws of the State of Florida, special act or by the Charter of the City of Palm Bay.
