§ 33.31 DEFINITIONS.

   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.

   SMALL PURCHASES.  Purchases of small supplies, services or construction not to exceed $2,500.

   SINGLE PURCHASE.  The purchase of supplies, services or construction which is not a portion or an artificially created subdivision of a purchase of greater value than $2,500.

   PURCHASER.  The city officer or employee who actual contracts with a vendor for the purchase of an item.
