§ 154.205  LANDMARKS OR PRESERVATION DISTRICTS.
   Such districts are used to protect buildings and places that are of historical or cultural importance.  Such districts help to safeguard our heritage and serve cultural educational and recreational ends.  The regulations pertain to buildings and structures of some significant architectural period.  The concern is with exterior features only, mainly design, arrangement, texture, materials, and color.  No changes can be made without approval from a review board.
