§ 37.36  RECREATION ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR/FACILITIES MANAGER.
   (A)   Class title. Recreation Activities Coordinator/Facilities Manager.
   (B)   Characteristics of class. Under general supervision, organizes and coordinates Recreation Center schedules, activities and maintenance; and does related work as required. Serves as supervisor in the absence of the Director.
   (C)   Examples of duties. Answers phone. Takes messages. Makes bookings. Schedules and arranges meetings, insuring that facilities and amenities are in place. Cleans up, rearranges and takes down meeting set ups. Insures building safety and security. Attends to swimming pool maintenance daily during the season. Performs building maintenance, such as dusting furniture, sweeping and cleaning carpet, mopping and buffing floors, cleaning bathrooms, washing dishes and windows. Supervises employees in the absence of the Director.
   (D)   Minimum qualifications.
      (1)   Training and experience.  Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent (GED) supplemented by three years of progressively responsible experience in recreation administration.
      (2)   Special necessary requirements. 
         (a)   Possession of a valid driver's license as issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
         (b)   Willingness to work an irregular work schedule.
         (c)   Ability to pass a physical examination.
      (3)   Special knowledge, skills and abilities.  Ability to promote and maintain high morale and enthusiasm.  Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with other employees, officials and the general public. Supervisory ability.  Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.  Tact. Initiative. Orderliness. Resourcefulness. Integrity.
