1335.04 APPROVED WIRING METHODS.
   Approved rigid or thin-wall conduit shall be used for the installation of all wiring for the carrying of electrical current for light, heat and power, except those buildings which are used exclusively as one, two and multi-family dwellings, provided that such dwellings do not exceed three floors above grade; and garages where not more than two motor vehicles are kept, may be wired as follows: in nonmetallic sheathed cable, concealed knob and tube, or by any other method approved by the National Electrical Code. Requirements of the National Electrical Code for hazardous locations shall apply in all cases.
