542.037 PROTECTION FOR PUBLIC PROPERTY.
   (a)   The City Manager shall have general supervision of all City property and shall make and enforce any regulations necessary for the protection and preservation of the property and the intended use thereof. Notice of such regulations shall be given by advertisement or by posting in a conspicuous spot on or about the property affected by the regulation. The violation of any regulation made pursuant to this section shall constitute a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
   (b)   If the Board of Education of the Painesville City School District adopts regulations for the protection and preservation of public property under its control, the violation of such regulation shall constitute a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
   (c)   Notice of such regulation shall be given by posting in a conspicuous spot on or about the property affected by the regulation.
