(a) The Director of Law shall designate one or more persons as Assistant Law Director to perform the duties of the Law Director during his absence or disability and any person or persons so appointed are hereby authorized to perform the duties of the Director of Law during his absence or disability.
(b) The Assistant Law Director shall perform such duties as are assigned by the Law Director including the duties of Police Prosecutor.
