1721.01 PERMITS REQUIRED.
   No person shall construct, add to or move or demolish any building, dwelling, sidewalk, driveway or patio or other construction within the City without having obtained a permit to do so from the Recorder. Such permit shall be issued only upon a directive from the Building and Safety Inspection which in all cases will be the Fire Chief and the Public Works Superintendent. Building permits shall expire one year from date issued and demolition permits shall expire 90 days from date issued. It shall be the responsibility of the recipient of permit to contact “Miss Utility” before any construction or demolition may take place. (Likekind construction will not require a building permit.)
