No person shall construct, install, establish, operate or maintain an outdoor wood burning stove/furnace within the City limits of Paden City unless he or she shall have first obtained from the City Recorder an application for a permit to be completed and reviewed by the water superintendent and the fire chief. The applicant can apply to the Common Council for a review of the permit or to request a variance. Upon proper hearing of the matters involved, the Common Council shall grant the issuance of the permit, deny the issuance of the permit, or modify such permit upon any terms and conditions deemed necessary for the health and welfare of the residents.
The Common Council shall, by resolution, promulgate fees to be charged for any such permit issued pursuant to these provisions.
