1711.02 STANDARDS FOR CONSTRUCTION, REPAIR, ALTERATION.
   (a)   In the construction, repair, alteration, moving or demolition of any building or other structure, or any part of any building or other structure, the specifications to be met, the materials to be used, the methods to be employed and the standards of workmanship shall conform to nationally accepted standards as stated in the following publications: Vol. 6, National Fire Codes, (1976) and the West Virginia State Fire Code.
   (b)   All provisions and requirements of the West Virginia State Fire Code and Rules and Regulations governing the same are hereby adopted. and.made a part of this chapter as fully as though set out herein and all future construction, repairs, alterations of building and other structures within the Municipality must comply with the West Virginia State Fire Code.
   (c)    All provisions and requirements of the Southern Standard Gas Code,1979 edition, insofar as such provisions are applicable to the Municipality, are hereby adopted and made a part of this article as fully as though set out herein. It shall be unlawful for any person to fail or refuse to comply with such code. Copies of such code shall be kept on file in the office of the City Recorder. (Passed 1-3-84.)
