For the purpose of this article, the following words and phrases, wherever appearing in any technical code adopted by this article, shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section:
(a) "The Building and Safety Inspector" means the Fire Chief or an appointed qualified person.
(b) "Chief Administrator" means the Mayor.
(c) "Chief appointing authority" means the Mayor, with the approval of Council when such approval is required.
(d) "Electrical Inspector" means the Building and Safety Inspector or his authorized representative, or such other person who may be charged with the duty of administering and enforcing the provisions of the Electrical Code, or his authorized representative.
(e) “Legal Department" means the City Attorney.
(f) "Local governing body" means the Council of Paden City.
(g) "Municipality" means Paden City, West Virginia.
