(a) The Mayor, Water Board Chairman and Public Work Superintendent are appointed to an Emergency Water Committee authorized to determine when it is in the public’s best interest to publicly announce that no water shall be used for sprinklers, garden hoses, or washing of motor vehicles until such time as the reserve in the water tanks for the City of Paden City are at such level as to allow the public to resume use of its sprinklers, garden hoses and to wash motor vehicles.
(b) A public announcement of the determination of such emergency by radio, posting of notice on the City bulletin board and in local newspapers shall be sufficient notice that the public may not use sprinklers, the garden hoses or wash motor vehicles during the period of the emergency.
(c) Any violation of the above provisions shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than $5.00 nor more than $25.00 for each offense committed.
