Idaho Alley. The following portions of Idaho Alley within the City all lying within Tyler County be, and are hereby forever closed, vacated, abandoned and annulled, and that the title to the portion of the Alley, so closed, shall revert to the proper owners as provided by law, as follows:
Beginning at the easterly right of way line of Adams Street, thence 70 feet in an easterly direction and beginning at the northwest corner of Lot No. 550, on the plat of Paden City; thence in an easterly direction with the northerly line of lots 549 and 550 and being the southerly right of way line of Idaho Alley, a distance of 70 feet, such point being the northeast corner of Lot No. 549; thence leaving the southerly right of way line of Idaho Alley in a northerly direction and perpendicular thereto a distance of 14 feet, crossing such Alley to the northerly right of way line of Idaho Alley, such point being the southeast corner of Lot No. 624; thence with the northerly right of way line of Idaho Alley and the southern line of Lots 624 and 623 in a westerly direction 70 feet to a point; such point being the southwest corner of Lot No. 623 and in the easterly right of way line of Adams Street; thence with the easterly right of way line of Adams Street in a southerly direction, a distance of 14 feet to the place of beginning.
First Avenue. The following portions of First Avenue within the City all lying within Tyler County, be and the same is hereby forever closed, vacated, abandoned and annulled, and that the title to the portion of the street, so closed, shall revert to the proper owners as provided by law, as follows:
Beginning at a point 10 feet westerly upon the common lot line of lots 54 and 55 on First Avenue; thence in a westerly direction a distance of 10 feet to a point 10 feet easterly of the common lot line of lots 55 and 56 on First Avenue, being that portion of First Avenue described above having a width of 40 feet along such line.
Holt Alley. The portion of Holt Alley lying between its intersection with an unnamed 14 foot alley (which point of intersection lies N 34o 30' 134.05 feet from the northwesterly right of way line of West Virginia State Route No. 2) and its intersection with an unnamed 10 foot alley leading from Holt Alley to Stephen Street, being 192.05 feet in length, be and the same is, hereby abandoned and vacated, providing however that there is reserved and excepted for the benefit of the City, its successors and assigns, a right of way over the portion of Holt Alley, so abandoned, for sewer, water and utility lines for present and future utilities, with the further provision that no building shall be constructed upon or over such land to interfere with the aforesaid sewer, water and utility lines. Short Alley. A certain public thoroughfare known and designated as Short Alley, a connecting alleyway between Fourth Avenue in the City and Strugeon Alley, and being fourteen feet in width and one hundred and ten feet in length, be and the same is hereby abandoned as a public alley and thoroughfare and released to the reversionary owner or owners thereof, or its or their assigns, it appearing to Council that the aforesaid Short Alley is no longer necessary for public purposes.
Alley Between Walnut and Miller Street. A certain public thoroughfare and alley between Walnut Alley and Miller Street in the City which thoroughfare or alley appears but is unnamed on the plat of the City, be and the same is hereby abandoned as a public alley and thoroughfare and released to the reversionary owner or owners thereof, or its or their assigns, it appearing to Council that such alley is no longer necessary for public purposes, which alley or thoroughfare hereby abandoned and released, is more than particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the extreme southwest corner of the present lands of Walter E. Schamp, and in the northern boundary line of Walnut Alley; thence with Walnut Alley in an easterly direction 14 feet; thence in a straight line parallel to Fourth Avenue 110 feet to the southern boundary line of Miller Street; thence with such boundary line of Miller Street 14 feet to a point in such line; thence with a straight line, also parallel to Fourth Avenue, 110 feet to the place of beginning.
