The license fee to operate and conduct a theatre, opera house or other permanent place for public shows, may be kept or maintained upon a payment of a license fee as hereinafter specified: For a three month period, a fee of ten dollars ($10.00); for a six month period, a fee of fifteen dollars ($15.00); and for one year, a fee of twenty dollars ($20.00).
