(a) The annual license fee to operate the business of a hotel, or motel, shall be two dollars ($2.00), and an additional twenty-five cents ($.25) shall be charged for each bedroom in excess of seven such bedrooms. The annual fee for the operation of a restaurant shall be two dollars ($2.00), and an additional twenty-five cents ($.25) shall be charged for each five chairs or stools or spaces where persons are fed, in excess of ten. No fee, however, for a hotel, motel, or restaurant shall exceed ten dollars ($10.00).
(b) No license shall be issued without the prior certification of the Health Officer and Fire Chief. (1978 Code Sec. 8-34)
