(a) The annual license fee to conduct the business of an employment agent to receive applications for employment, and to hire or contract with persons for employment, shall be two hundred dollars ($200.00). The annual license fee for an agency or registry used for employment of registered professional nurses, practical nurses, or undergraduate nurses shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00), provided that the provisions of this section shall not be applicable to any agency or registry operated by a professional registered nurses association for the benefits of its registrants and not for profit.
(b) The term "employment agent" means and includes all persons, firms, corporations, church and charitable associations, which furnish, to persons seeking employment, information enabling or tending to enable them to secure such employment or which furnish, to employers seeking laborers, information enabling or tending to enable them to secure such laborers, or keep a register of persons seeking employment.
