SECTION 7. RECORDER AND CHIEF OF POLICE.

There shall be appointed a Recorder and a Chief of Police. The Chief of Police shall also be the ex-officio Tax Collector of said Town. The Recorder and the Chief of Police shall reside within a twenty (20) mile radius of the City limits and shall hold office for a period of one year unless removed for cause. (Amended 3-19-18)
