Council is hereby empowered to purchase with public funds, public official liability insurance, personal injury liability insurance, policy liability insurance, and liability insurance covering all Municipal vehicles and equipment and insurance covering all Municipal property. Such insurance is to insure against all wrongful acts, misleading statements, acts or admissions, negligence, bodily injury, slander, neglect or breech of duty including misfeasance, malfeasance and nonfeasance of elected public officials, appointed public officials or Municipal employees.
