151.06 FUNERAL PAY.
   (a)   The Municipality will pay regular straight time basic wages up to a maximum of three days when such absence from scheduled work is caused by attending a funeral in the employee’s immediate family. An immediate family shall be an employee’s spouse and children, mother, father, sister, brother, spouse of brother and sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in- law, daughter-in-law, grandfather, grandmother, grandchildren, and brother, sister or grandparents of the employee’s spouse or any dependent member of the family who lives in the same house as the employee. This is only if it falls within regular scheduled workdays. This amendment shall be retroactive to Jan. 1, 1990.

   (b)   Funeral pay will extend to and include, not beyond the second day following the funeral up to a maximum of three days during an employee’s absence from his regularly scheduled shift. The time for which employees are paid for funeral pay because of death in the immediate family shall be counted toward hours worked for purposes of computing overtime in excess of forty hours in any work week.
