141.07 POWER AND AUTHORITY OF MUNICIPALITY.
   This Municipality shall have the plenary power and authority to prevent and extinguish fires, and in doing so it may regulate building construction, obtain proper fire fighting equipment, provide for the organization and government of a volunteer or paid Fire Department and describe the powers and duties of the Department and the power and duties of its commanders, impose a penalty on those who refuse the orders of the men they put in command. It may give the authority to such officer to destroy anything he deems necessary to stop a fire from burning, and levy a special service charge on the Municipality to pay for the organization of the Department.
