The City Attorney shall be the legal advisor and attorney of this Municipality and its officers, in matters relating to official duties. He shall prepare all ordinances of this Municipality. He shall represent the City in all matters and proceedings in any court in which the City is interested. It will also be his duty to perform any incidental duties Council or the Mayor may require of him. (1978 Code Sec. 2-29.)
