SEC. 16-553. EXPIRATION.
If a time limitation is specified in a special use permit, the special use permit shall expire as so specified. If no date is specified, a special use permit shall expire within one year from the date of issuance unless the use has been substantially developed or diligently pursued; provided, however, that if there be an express waiver in any such special use permit of the condition of such one-year time limitation, such one-year time limitation shall not apply. After expiration of a special use permit, the property affected thereby shall be subject to the regulations of the applicable zone classification.
