6-2-6: PARKING RESTRICTIONS IN SPECIFIC AREAS:
   A.   Purpose: The purpose of this section is:
      1.   To establish parking restrictions of any vehicles along certain streets or portions of streets; and
      2.   To establish a penalty for violation for unlawful parking along the streets or portions of streets listed in subsection B of this section. (Ord. 2005-2, 6-14-2005)
   B.   Restricted Parking Areas: In order to provide safe travel on certain streets or portions of streets, parking shall be restricted as follows:
James Boulevard: Vehicles shall only be allowed to park on the east side, which is also the even numbered side, of James Boulevard.
Kay Drive: Vehicles shall only be allowed to park on the north side, which is also the even numbered side, of Kay Drive.
Summit Street: Vehicles shall be parked on only the north side of Summit Street between Augusta and Prairie Avenues. Parking on the south side of Summit Street between Prairie and Augusta Avenues is prohibited. (Ord. 2005-2, 6-14-2005; amd. Ord. 2005-003, 7-12-2005; Ord. 2010-01, 11-9-2010; 2015 Code)
   C.   Towing Of Illegally Parked Vehicle: Any vehicle found to be parked where not permitted may be towed to a place where parking is permitted or to a designated place for storage as determined by city officials. Such towing costs shall be assessed to the owner of the vehicle towed.
   D.   Other Parking Regulations In Effect: All other parking regulations and prohibitions shall remain in full effect. (Ord. 2005-2, 6-14-2005)
