6-2-3: NO PARKING PLACES:
It shall be unlawful for an operator of a motor vehicle to stop, stand, or park such vehicle in any of the following places except when necessary to avoid conflicts with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a peace officer, member of the fire department or traffic control signal or device.
   A.   Within an intersection.
   B.   On a crosswalk.
   C.   In front of a public or private driveway.
   D.   Within five feet (5') of a fire hydrant.
   E.   On a sidewalk.
   F.   Within ten feet (10') from the approach of any flashing beacon, stop sign, stoplight or traffic control signal located at the side or above the roadway or center of roadway.
   G.   Within ten feet (10') from the intersection of curb lines or, if none, within five feet (5') of the intersection of property lines at the intersection, except alleys.
   H.   Within twenty feet (20') of the driveway entrance to the fire station.
   I.   Alongside or opposite any street excavation or construction when standing, stopping or parking will obstruct the traffic.
   J.   On a bridge.
   K.   On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge of a curb or a street.
   L.   At any place where official signs prohibit stopping or parking. (Ord. 82-68, 12-6-1982)
