When it becomes necessary to move any building across any street or alley, a house or other building of such size or height as it will interfere with poles or wires, the owner or agent of the company in charge of the telephone or electric wires shall, upon receiving at least twenty four (24) hours' notice, furnish at the expense of the mover, a competent person to superintend the necessary change and replacement of said poles and wires, and the house mover shall, at his own expense, furnish all other help required, together with tools and appliances, and shall move and replace the said property as directed. If the owner of the franchise fails to be present by himself or agent at the time stated, the house mover may remove and replace the property as aforesaid. (Ord. 15, 7-21-1970)
