(A) Conn. Gen. Stat. § 9-183a provides that the number of Justices of the Peace for each town shall be equal to one-third the number of jurors to which the town is by law entitled.
(B) Conn. Gen. Stat. § 9-183a provides that a town may, by ordinance, provide for the election of a lesser number of Justices of the Peace for the town.
(C) Until further action by the legislative authority of this town, the number of Justices of the Peace for this town be and the same is fixed at 27.
