(A) Regular members of the Zoning Board of Appeals shall continue to be elected at the regular municipal elections of the town and the terms of office of all the present members of the Board shall be confirmed.
(B) The three alternate members of the Board shall be elected at the next municipal election of the town to serve as follows:
(1) One to serve for three years;
(2) One to serve for four years; and
(3) One to serve for five years.
(C) Thereafter, each alternate members shall be elected for a term of five years at the regular municipal elections of the town.
