At the regular town election to be held in the town on the first Monday of October, 1957, there shall be elected nine members of the Board of Education, three members to serve for a term of two years, three members to serve for a term of four years and three members to serve for a term of six years. On the first Monday of October, 1959, and biennially thereafter, there shall be elected three members of the Board to serve for terms of six years. At any election, no elector shall vote for more than a bare majority of the members of the Board of Education to be elected for the same term.
