§ 32.072 ADOPTION OF INLAND WETLANDS REGULATIONS.
   (A)   Adoption. The town does hereby adopt the inland wetlands regulations prepared by the Conservation Commission pursuant to the powers and provisions of Conn. Gen. Stat. Public Act No. 155, being Conn. Gen. Stat. §§ 22a-36 to 22a-45.
   (B)   Purpose.
      (1)   (a)   Each town in the state must adopt regulations pertaining to so-called wetlands, as provided for under the provision of Conn. Gen. Stat. Public Act No. 155 prior to July 1, 1974 or the state regulations will become applicable.
         (b)   The Conservation Commission has prepared regulations which it deems proper for the needs and requirements for the town.
      (2)   Notwithstanding any language of the inland wetlands ordinance passed at a town meeting on July 9, 1973 to the contrary, the town inland wetlands regulations and boundaries, promulgated in accordance with the Connecticut General Statutes and an inland wetlands ordinance passed at a town meeting on July 9, 1973, may hereafter be amended by the Conservation Commission in accordance with provisions of Conn. Gen. Stat. §§ 22a-36 to 22a-45, as amended, without the necessity of town meeting approval for the community.
