The town authorizes the Conservation Commission to promulgate regulations in conformity with the regulations of the state, as outlined in Conn. Gen. Stat. § 22a-39, as are necessary to protect the wetlands and watercourses within the boundaries of the town. These regulations shall be brought before the townspeople at a public hearing and approved at a town meeting.
