(A) The following are permanent boards of the town:

(7) Civil Preparedness Council;
(8) Community Carpool Commission;
(9) Conservation Commission/Inland Wetlands Agency;
(10) Council of Governments Central Naugatuck Valley Emergency Planning Committee;
(11) Council of Governments Regional Planning;
(12) Cultural Arts Commission;
(13) Disability Commission;
(14) Economic Development Commission;
(15) Board of Education (elected):
(16) Elderly Commission;
(17) Emergency Management Commission with Local Emergency Planning Commission (LEPC)/Civil Preparedness;

(B) All appointees to boards and commissions must be qualified electors in the town. Minority representation on any appointive board shall be as specified in § 7-4 of the Charter.
