§ 154.05 BUILDINGS LISTED ON THE NATIONAL OR STATE REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES.
   Notwithstanding the provisions of § 154.04(I), if a building or structure listed on the National or State Register of Historic Places or located in a town historic district is proposed to be demolished, the Building Inspector may not waive any provisions of this chapter. The application for demolition shall be referred to the State Historical Commission which may, under Conn. Gen. Stat. § 7-147j(b), delay demolition for 90 days from issuance of a demolition permit if during the time the State Historical Commission is attempting to find a purchaser who will retain or remove the building or who will present some other reasonable alternative to demolition.
