The applicant will be required to maintain his or her work until released by the town. During this period he or she shall inspect the trench at regular intervals as may be necessary to maintain the area in satisfactory condition. The applicant shall make all necessary repairs, and in the event that the applicant fails to make repairs as are deemed necessary and the applicant shall pay the cost of this work. Failure on the part of the town to give notice that repairs are needed shall not relieve the applicant of any of the duties set forth herein.
